Here at SafeWordSociety, we have created a portfolio of exceptionally curated projects, starting with The SafeWordSociety Podcast which is hosted by Kristen McCallum and Lamika Young. First published in Feb. 2017, the podcast has served as a platform for influential interviews & discussions with community members to build QTPOC+ cultural competency within, above and beyond the media landscape. The show has been praised by The Guardian, NewNowNext, GO Magazine and more for creating a safe space for versatility and self-definition while uplifting the stories of those that are too often muted.

Closing its 5th season in the summer of 2018, The SafeWordSociety Podcast can be found  wherever you listen to podcasts and most recently streaming on Spotify.

This podcast is a comforting safe space where you can be free from racism, misogyny, homophobia and ableism, at least for one hour each week.

We are also home to The Visibility Packs, a discussion-based card game launched in Feb. 2018 as a collective learning & engagement tool that initiates and enhances safe space discourse. Each pack is created for the empowerment of the QTPOC+ community and our allies to organize, amplify and participate in continuous supportive conversations. With 100 questions, submitted by members of the community, about everyday topics to foster deeper understandings and collaborations -- each pack provides access to appropriate language and other key elements necessary to engage the nuanced experiences of the varied & extensive communities in today's society.

We offer custom facilitation of Learning Labs, Game Nights & a variety of experiences to introduce The Visibility Packs to your community, company and/or organization. Book us here!
